Limitations

We do NOT ship fireworks to the following states: Alaska, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

We cannot ship to APO/FPO or P.O Boxes. We do NOT ship outside the United States.

All explosive firework orders must be shipped by tractor trailer (freight loads only).

We can help you take orders over the phone if you need assistance in navigating through our website. Please have your order ready before you call.

All fireworks are shipped by Tractor Trailer or Large Box Truck to your home or business. Your location must be able to accept freight shipments. We strongly suggest you to arrange for delivery to a business address. All orders will require an adult signature for acceptance of your orders and photo I.D. may be required.

Fireworks do not fly: All fireworks must stay on the ground during the shipping process. They are not permitted to be on flights! Mailing or shipping fireworks in air parcels is a federal crime punishable by large fines!

Shipping Rates

There is no minimum order for firework orders. Orders under $200 will be charged a flat rate of $99.99 for freight shipping. Orders between $500 and $999.99 will be charged a flat rate of $200. All orders above the $1,000 total will be free. It is always cheaper to pick up your order at our warehouse store in Shelburn, IN.

Due to the high cost of shipping to Zone 5 (WA, ID, MT, and WY), orders are not eligible for free shipping. Regardless of the order amount, this Zone costs $200.

Timing of Shipments

Fireworks must be shipped carefully and under strict guidelines. Expect a minimum of 7 to 10 business days for zones 1, 2, and 3. It should take 10 to 15 business days for zones 4 and 5. For those within a comfortable driving distance of our site in Indiana, we always advise curbside pickup. Non-hazmat items generally take 3-7 business days for all Zones.

Firework shipments can NEVER be transported by air and must always stay on the ground. We recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks prior to your event to ensure the correct delivery. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FREIGHT DELIVERY THAT ARRIVES AFTER YOUR DESIRED TIME LIMIT.

Shipment arrival

Delivery drivers are not responsible for unloading your order. Packages will be placed on the tailgate of the truck. If you need the cartons lowered down from the back of the truck you must let us know that you request a liftgate service, but this will cost more

(additional charge).

Sky Thunder is not responsible for damage, lost, misdirected, or stolen merchandise. Always inspect your order and have the driver note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Once you have the shipping paperwork with the driver’s note of damage it will be up to you to contact the carrier and open/file a claim. Once the shipment leaves our warehouse, it is the responsibility of the carrier to provide safe delivery.

Cancelling an Order

Once your order is placed in the possession of the shipping carrier, it is out of our hands. Once your fireworks have been shipped, they can NOT be returned. Make sure you are happy with your order before you place it! All firework sales are final.

Firework Laws

To avoid major issues or possible fines, make sure that fireworks are legal in your state. Neither Sky Thunder nor the shipping companies know all of the exact county or local laws for your state and are not responsible for the use of our merchandise. Do your

research BEFORE you purchase from us!!

You may want to consult with the state, county or local officials in the area that you will be shooting fireworks. Some states where fireworks are permitted have additional county and city ordinances that further limit firework usage. It is a good idea to check your local fire department for the local firework laws in your area. Many areas require you to get a permit before shooting fireworks. It is your responsibility to check out the laws in YOUR AREA and Sky Thunder is not liable for illegal shipments or local law restrictions.

Sky Thunder is also not responsible for the use, misuse, confiscation, or malfunction of our merchandise. Any injuries that may occur are not our responsibility. Follow all safety procedures and read ALL WARNINGS that are posted on firework products. Use common sense and some safe practices and everyone will have a good safe time.
